Schizoprenia how to help your love one

Hi, and welcome to the forums. It's geeat that you're reaching out. This must be so hard for you. The stigma and difficulties suppoeting a loved one with psychosis can be so exhausting. I have two brothers with paranoid schizophrenia both on CTO injections. The hardest thing for me is the lack of emparhy and the arguments:

"nobody believes me"

"its not me it's them"

"Why don't you believe me"

So much suffering in their mind. 1/2 family won't talk to them or people who do ralk to the (like me) because if it. Its hard. But I can walk away, you can't - you need to keep building up support network for yourself. There's more organisations around, but here's a good start, many identify with you. Not sure what mor to say, hang in there, look after you too. xox

such a hard situation for yourself and your partner.

He is suffering within his mind and all he needs is love and care. He pushes people away unaware of what he is doing.

You say that you fly in and out of Australia on a visa. Gosh you both would be dealing with the absence of each other as well.

I have no words to offer. My son is the same as your partner and now has nothing to do with me. He hates me because I set a boundary with money. So he carries hate and hurt re his mother and his mother, myself carries hurt also.

Do you have family or close friends here or overseas? Even though you are not a permanent citizen here Carers Australia mental health section might listen to you. Google them. Investigate the same type of organisation in your country. Just so that you have someone to talk to, keeping up your strength.
