Easily Bored

Easily Bored

Does anyone else find they quickly bored? I guess another way of saying it is : Does anyone else need to be constantly busy? Except when sleeping of course! 🎶💕

Re: Easily Bored

hello @Zoe7 and all others

sorry i'm very drained today and dont have the energy to @ everyone.

I used to go for a walk in my lunch hour, or find a nice area of nature nearby eat my lunch there and go back to work revitalised under the glare of the gossipers.

hello @Arjay

yes i agree with you and just lately my sleeping pattern has been disturbed, so i am not having enough deep sleep.

I find myself sleeping in later I used to be a very early riser between 5.30am - 6am.

now I love the comfort of my bed too much.

Re: Easily Bored

hello @Zoe7

not sleeping well is so very draining and not good long term for your health.

perhaps you need to monitor your time on here and perhaps limit number of responses as I needed to. It really did make a difference.

It is so easy to come back and fall back into the same as I am doing now when we are people with empathy.

so I am empathising for you and suggesting that you just try to reduce, cull back slightly. If that makes you worse, then ignore my suggestion. I am not qualified.

You have given so much of yourself on here, might be time to rest your mind, your empathy, we will all still be here, we know you will return, we just want the best for you.

stay safe, stay with us(in your heart) and love yourself xxxx

Re: Easily Bored

@Former-Member Thankyou for you reply. Me not sleeping well is a long-term and complicated situation.

Being connected here is often all that stands between me 'just getting through' and not wanting to be anywhere at all. It has certainly helped during those nights when I have felt really distressed and often being able to reach out for support here has not only helped me feel less alone but also kept me safe.

I do understand your need to limit your interactions and responses on here but for me it really is my lifeline at the moment.

Thankyou for your kind words

Zoe

hello @Zoe7 @Kurra @mufasa @Appleblossom @Arjay

Thank you for your honest reply.

We are all experiencing different emotions, reactions have had different life experiences, have different mental health symptoms.

Yes you know and need to do what is right for you.

As you say your most important need is for contact and having the interactions on here is your lifeline, you look after you first.

I try to empathise, offer help, knowing at the same time that I am not an expert, specialist, therefore am not going to have all the answers.

I just wish you a safe journey.

Re: Easily Bored

@Former-Member Your advice and opinions are very much appreciated As with all responses it is important, and welcomed, to be honest and respectful of each other's position and where they are at in their journey - you show nothing less than respect, empathy and honesty in your words. Thankyou for that
