My life sucks
And I have no hope that it’ll get better, despite being told by everyone that spoken to that it would. But I know for a fact that it won’t, not even in decades time.

@Blackcloud You're not a loser, that would be the illness talking. I know I reach for honey as soon as I get a sore throat or develop cold and flu symptoms, I take a teaspoon as needed.

Oh it’s just by the fact that I haven’t gotten myself into doing meal prepping as often as I’ve been starting to do now the moment my savings were (and are) at it’s lowest - that’s what makes me feel like a loser in life since I was so used to spending money on takeaway healthy meals on a weekly (like twice/three times a week?) basis and meal delivery plans fortnightly - which I now don’t do anymore
🥲
seeing my savings decreasing gradually (and fluctuating but mostly decreasing) is what makes me feel a bit heartbroken and guilty
id like to hope by the time I move into the new accomodation (and after my $249 monthly subscription ends on mid July) that my savings can have a slight increase gradually by then, especially since the rent will be cheaper there than here

@Blackcloud That's not a loser mentality at all, you've identified why you're feeling this way and you've got a plan that you'll follow to get out of it.
I totally understand the savings bit, I'm currently living on government payment to payment, this is the poorest I've ever been and the first time in life that I haven't been able to work. The hard times help you appreciate the good times, they also teach you valuable lessons.

@Former-Member according to the fortnightly income I’ve been getting from Centrelink now, the amount is like $400 lower than the average 1.8k per fortnight amount that I assume all employees from low wage jobs get (at least from what I’ve researched) I’ve never had to work at a low wage job before cause I’m scared to due to the toxicity of the workplace and customers 🥲🥲 (my disability and sensitivities would 100% not survive any of that).
I appreciate the reassurance my friend ❤️
I’m sorry to hear that it has gotten to this point for you, the job marketing is very difficult in today’s society these days 🥲😒 I just hope that I’d be able to get into a job like in the future that’s related to my chosen field based from what I intend to study at uni

@Blackcloud I hope you do get a job in your chosen field, in regards to the job market for myself, I have my trade qualifications and a heap of other licenses and tickets, so finding a job isn't the hard part for me, It's the workplace trauma, depression, anxiety and PTSD that stops me. I want to work, but in my field if I stuff up it could seriously hurt or k1ll people, including myself.
In regards to workplace toxicity, unfortunately that can occur anywhere, you'll find a good place to work as they are out there. Working for myself appeals to me, that way I can choose my hours and which jobs I accept and I'm not forced out of my comfort zone.

@Former-Member yeah, like with my autism and my issues with social anxiety and selective mutism in the past that also affects with how i connect with people (and maintain friendships long term) in real life, that all very much impacts on my social communication abilities in general whenever I try to talk to someone verbally (whether its in person or in phone/video calls), and that's the thing I'm worried about when it comes to trying to help clients (talk to them) in any work setting including mental health. Like I would like to work in the peer work/mental health field, but if I keep messing up my words when I speak to someone, then I'm 100% sure that it'll have an impact on my performance communication wise...that's why I usually thrive at online communications because with online communications (including this one) I know what to exactly say since its easier for me to come up with what to say, whereas when it comes to talking verbally to someone its really difficult. That's also why I hope that working in the mental health field can be a place where the management can be more supportive of their employees (in terms of their own mental health and wellbeing) which is also why I thought of wanting to work and take a pathway in that specific field where I can feel more supported by management.
