It was alright here, been very cold. I didn't return from the common area until like 8am just cause I was watching some motorsports. Enjoyed it, got 4 hours of sleep, which is decent for the weekend. Now probably locked in for a research project due in 2 weeks time and some other assignments

To add to your question about furbabies, I grew up around dogs most of my life. I also used to have a white cat for like 3 months, he got kidnapped and I have never got any other pet since. I study abroad and my family doesn't have time to take care of any furbabies at the moment

@ArraDreaming it sounds like you've had a great day and you've got lots of fishing trips to look forward to!

@MissGremlin I've had a day, it's been better than yesterday. I didn't get out of bed until 10.30 because it was freezing and the wood heater had gone out, so bed was the warmest place. It was hair wash day (I have dread locks) which always takes some time, and I built a flat pack coffee table for my loungeroom. I've had a very quiet weekend.

Welcome @Kody, you are doing great already 😊. This is our Sunday night social chat so it's very easy going but can move pretty fast at times which can make it hard to keep up with. But it's fun to catch up with everyone and share how your weekend was😊.

@NightFury it's been a hell of a couple of days for me with flashbacks constantly. I'm pretty exhausted but come bedtime I'm wide awake, it's quite frustrating 😂. Oh I miss wood heaters, beds are the best place when it's cold. Hair wash day is a task and a half with thick, long hair so I can imagine dreadlocks would take alot of work aswell. Building flat packs is always fun. Quiet weekends can be nice. Have you got much planned for the week?

Hey everyone, joining a bit late

@tyme @NightFury @ale_inmelb @Shaz51 @Kody @MissGremlin

Another excellent job on the AI of your blue heeler in you new tinny @ArraDreaming

I have an elderly dog unfortunately almost at the end of his time. I had more than 15 years with him and his "sister" (who died in 2023). They kept me here many a time and have given me some much needed and fairly rare joy in my life. Furbabies are so important

@MissGremlin I've been keeping an eye on one of your posts. I was worried about you, but didn't know what to do, or how to say it.

I have work (I'm a teacher and work full time now), I have my first Guided Recovery call tomorrow night and I'm starting my second unit in the course that I'm studying. I have my niece's second birthday next weekend and chances are I'll have to pick her up from day care a few times after work this week. Life is busy.

What about you?
