Why does it feel like there is never any support between considering suicide and complete crisis? Like I know all the things to do to manage suicidal ideation but it just feels like there is some kind of gap?

hey @Chooka9 welcome!
i hear ya about that gap - there's crisis supports, but if you're not at that level yet but are dealing with SI, often you'd be encouraged to chat to a therapist/psych/counsellor, etc - which obviously is great too but they are limited in terms of accessibility and costs at times (i.e. if its 2am and you need support). i think that's why i love spaces like this, where we can chat about it and support each other. the gap definitely deserves attention, thanks for sharing.
