I love rabbits. all kinds of rabbits. they are a very misunderstood creature. they are sensitive yet stubborn. need social interaction with other bunnies and people. they are determined little souls and of course they are super cute.

Tiny, hey. Are they still with the mother then @Bunniekins ? I don't know anything about rabbits although we have a lot of wild ones where I live. Beautiful white ones! How long do they normally live for? They are really cute! I don't have to tell you that, though! 🙂💚

@heartathome hmmm they stay with the mother for some time (my support worker has baby bunnies atm) i will ask her next time i have her. white wild bunnies!!! the area where you live sounds perfect! we have loads of bunnies here but not white. does it get very cold where you are? yes bunnies are super cute and smart but need alot of care which i think people dont appreciate i certainly didnt when we first got bunnies 😮

@Bunniekins @heartathome Yes bunnies often die from outside contact with ill bunnies, unless constantly vaccinated to the new strains they put out to cull the wild rabbits.
My daughter gave up after trying to keep bunnies for her children, to much trauma for kids when their bunnies/pets die all the time

How old were your rabbits when you got them? Yeah. I think a couple of white tame bunnies got out at some stage. We also have brown ones. Since the pod village (caravan housing for flood victims) was taken away, the bunnies have disappeared. I often wonder where they went. We have a lot of nature around us. They were getting tame at the village! I imagine they would take some looking after! Are yours inside bunnies? I've heard that you can train them to use a kitty litter tray.
I'm already cold at 19 degrees @Bunniekins ! From 31 to 25 was a shock for me the other day! 🥶 😆I love the summer and being by the ocean we get a nice cool breeze.
I lived in the crater of an old volcano site for over 30 years and the heat there was unbearable at times! The humidity was the worst. Even though I lost most things there (in the flood), I was transferred by regional housing and now live in an ideal part of the country! I'm very blessed! I'm definitely much better off where I am! I'm in a much smaller town, where I've always wanted to be. I'm grateful! 🙏

@heartathome @DownMoreThanUp i got my bunnies at different ages but were not babies. they were inside bunnies bunnies in australia have to be inside bunnies due to myxamatosis which we are not allowed to vaccinate out bunnies against which p*sses me off because the wild bunnies are basically immune to it only kills pet bunnies. spread by mozzies and bunny to bunny.
yes our bunnies were messy but toilet trained 😄
you lived inside a extinct volcano! how amazing! that would have been so interesting looking for rocks and the like (i love that kind of thing). i am very happy that you have found your happy place we are still to find ours.
