for those strange people who love rabbits

for those strange people who love rabbits

I love rabbits. all kinds of rabbits. they are a very misunderstood creature. they are sensitive yet stubborn. need social interaction with other bunnies and people. they are determined little souls and of course they are super cute.

This is a thread for rabbit lovers.

@levitinian what if these people just have hate in their heart and wont accept your apology?

Re: for those strange people who love rabbits

Can't say I know how to do this. If you make the apology sincere and do it with kindness and they still don't want to listen then you probably should let the relationship go.

Re: for those strange people who love rabbits

@Bunniekins @levitinian I have found it easier to apologise when I am doing it for my wellbeing. Like forgiveness, you do it for yourself and not the other person.

I have apologised to my ex friend and she has not accepted it. But I know I have done the right thing and that helps me to feel better about it. I told her I forgive and am sorry for hurting her. That's all I need to do. I don't need her acceptance.

I hope this is of help to you both.

While I have your attention Bun Bun, I have a little joke for you.

A kid goes to the fridge and see his rabbit sitting on one of the shelves.

The kids says, "What are you doing in the fridge?"
The rabbits says "It's a Westinghouse isn't it? Well, I'm westing."

(I heard this joke nearly 40 years ago and I have never forgotten it!)

Re: for those strange people who love rabbits

Hi @ENKELI I went into complete melt down and couldn't cope with anything. Even helping pack.

It wasn't until a friend in the caravan park came in and listened to me cry about how I can't cope, then she started to sort out things that needed to be packed, and I felt with her help I could actually start to pack up our belongings.

We couldn't find anywhere to live with such short notice. Only manage to apply for two houses before having to leave. But there are so many people looking for accommodation, that I don't know how we will ever find a place to live.

For the meantime, we have hired a caravan and placed it at my mum's place. This way we can save, and I can also spend some quality time with my mum.

Re: for those strange people who love rabbits

@Bunniekins am I weird to think your creepy bunnies are cute?!

I am studying a Certificate III in Business (Records and Information Management). It was organised through my job services provider and after I have completed this course I will do medical records.

I desperately need to get out of transport and logistics as it is quite a toxic environment and unfortunately even though I previously worked as an electorate officer for a couple of members of parliament, and office manager for a chamber of commerce, that was over 10 years ago and transport is all employers look at now.

I've just turned 57 so I know time is against me but I would like to find a job that I can do until I choose to retire. I worry that not having any current referees will be an obstacle but I am trying not to get overly anxious about it while I am studying.

What we need Bun darling is to win a huge amount of money and then we can do whatever we want to because we don't have to worry about money.
In one way it's good there are plenty of people volunteering where you are but for you it's a hindrance. I am so sorry sweetheart, that is unfortunate.

Actually it's not really a problem as we will be moving to Bern soon! Hugs my darling Bun, I love you xo

@Mustang67 oh hon that sounds dreadful. The housing shortage is just terrible Australia wide with rent prices sky-rocketing and limited availability.

I'm glad you have somewhere for now, the fact that you get to spend time with your mum is a plus too.

If it's okay with you, I'll keep you in my prayers my dear friend, while I haven't had to worry about a place to live I have had other problems that have caused the same kind of anxiety that is just exhausting and debilitating.

I am so relieved that you have a solution and that you can save money.

Let me know if there is anything you need support wise. I have a prayer list for all my Sane friends and if there is something specific I will definitely add it to my list.

I hope Sunday is kind to you and you are able to have some calm in your life xo

@ENKELI thank you so much for keeping me in your prayers. I really appreciate it.

I am so sorry to hear that you have problems that are causing the level of anxiety that it is. I wish I could take it away for you.

My mum is now 85 and is not in the best of health, so really, we don't know for how much longer she will be around, so I will be using this time to spend it with her. On Wednesday I needed to pick up some packages in my parcel locker near my old address, which is about 40 minutes away. My mum asked if she could come as she hadn't been out of the house in months. So, I took her along with me and showed her the beach and the lookout that was where I used to go when I wasn't coping very well and where my partner works. I took her home a different way, so she could see more of what is around her. Basically, it was a 2-hour round trip and she loved it. If i have any more packages that need collecting, I will see if my sister wants to come, as she doesn't get out much either. I am the only driver out of my sisters.

I am currently at one of my niece's houses, that she was lucky enough to get through the housing trust, just before Christmas. I can now see what sort of things she needs. Like cutlery and more than one set of sheets for her bed. So, if I find these things along my travels, I will get some items to help her.
