I love rabbits. all kinds of rabbits. they are a very misunderstood creature. they are sensitive yet stubborn. need social interaction with other bunnies and people. they are determined little souls and of course they are super cute.

@Bunniekins @DownMoreThanUp myxomatosis is the mosquito borne disease that kills rabbits and I agree it is a cruel way to let an animal die. I've had to shoot rabbits with the disease to put them out of their misery. If you have a rabbit vets advise you vaccinate them against Calicivirus as this is another disease prevalent in the wild population.
There are TNR (trap neuter release) programmes for feral cats in WA and I assume there are the same in other states, it would be good if they could do this for rabbits as well.

Are rabbits affected by COVID? I remember someone with COVID, not knowingly, picked up my rabbit and it wasn't long before the rabbit got really really sick with respiratory issues @ENKELI @Bunniekins '

@DownMoreThanUp they are the product of some moron (Thomas Austin) back in 1859 releasing 2 dozen rabbits into the wild for hunting. I am not anti cull of any animal so long as it's done humanely and myxomatosis is not humane. Sometimes I despise people. If they can TNR feral cats and foxes, they can do it with rabbits as well.

@tyme hmmmm i read somewhere during the pandemic that covid can be passed onto our pets. i will see if i can dig up anything online. then there are the bird flu virus and swine flu each transmissible between animals and people... and then there is the virus which comes from bats which is deadly.

Yes @ENKELI i fully understand what you are saying about despising people who do evil. Did that myself for many years!
Yet life lived as someone who worked with (troubled youth) people over the years, has taught me to focus much more on despising and hating the evils living inside of (hurting) people captivating them. For now i know that people who are being classified as evil by those around them, are people who have themselves been victims of evil in the past, and are now being lied to about themselves and others by the very evils put in them as victims.
i know with governments for example, that because Governments are run by big money and the lust for power it is utterly evil, For i know that love for money and the need to have power over others, as well as the vanity of having our ego stroked, are three evils ruling humanity much of its misery today.
