@Former-Member Its sad how more than 95% of people in this world are quick to judge someone based on first impressions, and yeah the ones that would take the time to get to know you and accept you for who you are are only the minority.
But then there’s also the ones that do take the time to know you and would befriend you for a short period to later then reject you and stop being friends with you and talking to you. (Like be a fake friend) I’ve had a friend that did this to me back in high school. She even mocked me everytime she calls my name within those last few months before she completely stopped talking to me. Since that experience, I’m scared that other people I’ll meet and connect with in the future would end up doing the same thing to me as she did. Well not just that, but I’ve also had a lot of people I’ve stick to as friends for a period of time but then as time goes by they then move onto another friend group and stick to that group for the rest of their life and they completely stop talking to me.
I guess the part of wishing I can have real friends to rely on instead of always relying on myself is mainly in terms of being able to have connections in general (I guess but depends), but also in terms of saving money (like e.g. if we have to go somewhere by a car, then I can easily ride on my friend’s car without worrying about having to pay for the ride vs if I have to use a taxi and pay for the ride for them to take me to that place)
