Procrastination
I am wondering if anybody has some successful strategies for dealing with procrastination.
I keep myself reasonably busy, but do I do it to make myself feel better about procrastinating over other things

I saw this thing online where some out there tasks on bracelets that were not comfy and everytime they did one they could take it off, I thought that’s a great idea!
Ill buy those bracelets tomorrow…

I find breaking things down into smaller goals helps @Till23
like at the moment we have to move house 😩 and I feel totally overwhelmed with all the stuff I have to pack. So I have broken it down into smaller tasks. For example instead of just ‘pack house’, I have a list with; declutter coffee table and pack, sort board games and pack, clean bathroom cupboard and pack what’s not needed. It feels much more manageable when they are small tasks that I could get done in say 1/2 hr.
and always makes lists and cross off what you’ve done- seeing what I have accomplished so far is encouraging

Yes @Bow I do make lists and it’s good crossing things off. However, I don’t seem to ever get to some things, which is what annoys me. You have to prioritise of course, so some things will trump other things, but still. I’ve even tried doing something I’m not that interested in for 25mins, then doing something I like for a while, then back to other thing - but I still find it hard to sustain
