i am thinking of leaving the forums due to mania but i love it here so have asked for a change of portfolio which is hard too because i love greenpea. has anyone else felt similar feelings? need advise before greenpea goes.

@Gibbs when i was small i loved stories about bush rangers ben hall, ned kelly, captain moonlight etc. i wanted to be a bushranger well one day a girl friend and i ran away from home. i would have been 10. we packed up our suitcases cut our hair to disguise ourselves and headed off. we got all the way to terry hills from mosman. by foot and bus. it was getting dark and the realisation of what we had done kicked in. my gf wanted to keep going but i felt danger and ended up ringing the police.
Needless to say we got into big trouble with our parents, our school ( cause we disappeared from school) and the police. 2 weekend detentions followed.

@Gibbshere is a birthday story of when i turned 13. for my birthday we had it at the old hakoah club in bondi. i was up on the dance floor with my girlfriends dancing to heart of glass by blondie, when this much older man came up and started talking to me. after awhile flattered by the attention i gave him my phone number. he did call and my very protective mother came to the phone and told him in no uncertain terms that he should never ring again. i was devestated. lol i was lucky having a mum who was that protective.

@Gibbs hope you have had a rest and are feeling a bit better. here is another story. my ex and i were driving up to a town called Bookham. well this driver coming the opposite way flashed his lights at us indicating there was a cop ahead so we slowed down and sure enough there was a big burly cop with a handle bar mousache. i smiled at him as we went by and his face dropped and he went after us! he followed us right up our clack all the way out of town! and then turned around and went back. my ex was freaking out he said why did you have to smile at him i was like idk couldnt help myself! lol
