I'm glad you're ok @Determined but yes it's difficult to see others impacted.
Also even if you are not directly impacted by floods, there's still the constant moisture, mould, mildew etc. Sometimes difficulty getting around to places or supply lines being impacted (like the good old Bruce Highway)

Is it weird that I like writing essays? I'm actually good at them...
I'm currently in a fairly optimistic mood after church for a change. The sermon reader actually took consideration for my triggers and purposefully left them out.
I feel like this instance shouldn't be an exception to the usual though
