Managing thoughts of suicide & self-harm

Battles

Battles

Hi all, does anyone else just feel like life is just one big sh!t show? It's just one thing after another, constant drama, family issues, money struggles, stress, anxiety it's just always something.

When do things get easier, do things ever change?

I've been through more than i care to think about in my life but today has pushed me to breaking point and it's bringing up alot of bad memories of previous suicide attempts.

I just feel like it's not worth it, it's not worth fighting, not worth hanging on anymore.

Hello @NightFury, how's things?

Re: Battles

@MissGremlin I don't know how to answer that at the moment...

I'm sitting in front of the fire, it's actually warm in here for once.

Re: Battles

@NightFury its a tough question at times. Anything i can do to help or you want me to just sit with you in this moment?

Sitting in front of the fire sounds so nice, glad you are keeping warm ❤️

Re: Battles

@MissGremlin it's been so cold all day. The poor rug rat was shivering and shaking and her little fingers were frozen. It's a freezing house and it didn't get to 7 degrees until after the fog lifted. So, it's nice to be feeling warm.

Sit with me?

Re: Battles

@NightFury awww poor little miss. It's horrible when the house is freezing and it can take so long to heat up.

I'll gladly sit with you, I'm right here with you ❤️

Re: Battles

@MissGremlin I rugged her up in blankets. But it was part of the reason she was so clingy.

The house doesn't really warm up. You get used to it, but it's always cold in here. Which is why I'm pleasantly surprised to be warm enough tonight.

Re: Battles

@NightFury this cold weather is horrible and really is perfect to snuggle up with someone so she had the right idea.

My house gets cold aswell being that there's only a heater in the lounge that can't reach the rest of the house. Plus I can't afford to run it anyway. Surprisingly I haven't felt the cold today.

Re: Battles

@MissGremlin I have a woodheater in the loungeroom, which does okay at heating up the lounge, but not the rest of the house. The problem is...the wood I brought is green and won't burn well, if at all, so it doesn't throw out a lot of heat...usually. I must have stumbled upon some of the old wood from the bottom of the pile.

Have you got a grounding activity up your sleeve?

Re: Battles

@NightFury can do a grounding activity, did you have one in mind? Can try the 3,3,3 one that was put up the other day otherwise.
