Relationship issues

First post no idea how this works but am struggling. We have been Together nearly 11 years, 4 kids only 1 is his. Previously cheated moved past it. Or so I thought… he currently needs space and turned his location off. Doesn’t want to talk about anything other than he wants to be left alone to feel with his issue. But makes me uneasy why he needs to turn his location off. Feeling lost and don’t know how to feel.

Re: Relationship issues

Hi @Materandgroot, welcome to the forum.

It sounds like a very very confusing situation and i think anyone would be struggling with it. Your trust has been tested before so it's only natural that you feel uneasy. Anyone can need some space, there's no issues there. But turning off his location does certainly add to your concern. It does seem to allude to having something to hide. But maybe he just thinks you might come and find him. It really is impossible to know. Which is why you deserve some honesty and reassurance in the relationship. Like i said, needing some space is one thing, but leaving you with so many questions is not fair on you, leaving you in this state of limbo. Especially with the trust and forgiveness you've shown him in the past.

Maybe for now, while you wait for him to 'have his space', you can use the time to work on taking care of yourself while you wait for him to be ready to talk. We're here with you and happy to listen.

I agree. Find something to give yourself care, a activity that gives you joy. Its hard when you dont get those answers from someone you love.
