Re: Anyone out there.

@Appleblossom a coincidence my dad taught me the cooee and used it to call for dinner. Had a fairly good day. Went to gym (strong and Stable class, lunch with gym participants, scoured Bunnings for some picture frames fittings unsuccessfully. I had a very large frame poster that fell off the wall. So been adapting some metal pieces to do repairs. Had ocean dory for dinner and relaxing.

Yes a coincidence about cooee.... @Gibbs not many do it these days. My dad died when I was 11 and I try and remember the good stuff cos everyone heaped negativity on him.

Dinner and lunch sound good.

I used to do a bit of gym. Back in the day of Body Balance and Pump. I was def a lo impact person.

Re: Anyone out there.

@Appleblossom yes it is hard when you love your parents die. Fortunately I was older when my parents died. It must be so hard to lose them when you are young but it is always nice to remember the good times and enjoy the memories. Gym for me; not heavy stuff as strong and Stable suggests.

Re: Anyone out there.

@Appleblossom you mention your son. How many children do you have. I have two one in Japan and one is Australia. Aussie born and bred and not mob.

Simple question. Complicated answer. Making it brief 1, 2 or 3 depending how you define it.

@Gibbs

Father's side Irish Australian , but after he passed, there was no other Aussie input. Mother's side Dutch.

Re: Anyone out there.

@Appleblossom fathers parents migrated here fron Surrey England father born here. Mothers parents born here. Grand mother long English lineage. Grandfathers parents escaped from Prague Bohemia which is now Czechoslovakia. Not so simple answer.

Re: Anyone out there.

@Gibbs the human race loves travel and migration.

Great music culture from that part of the world.

I don't do much of the high decibel stuff on the Everything Music thread but I visit from time to time.

It can be good to have one's own space or thread...and dip into the more social spaces.

What calming music do you like?
