Off work big changes

Off work big changes

I’m off work right now having more scans this week and 2 surgeons have already said I’ll be off the tools now which is a challenge but I want to change now it’s too painful any way . Lots of stress at work and these injuries triggered an auto immune issue before Christmas and I could barely walk . I couldn’t with out medications . So I’m under a fair bit of pressure and tryin to stay calm . At times I’m ready to roll over sell up and move but I really love wear I live I’ve attached a pic of home this morning so sometimes I’m ready to give up but mornings like today make me want to dig in and find a way

Hi @boutthattime

It sounds as though there's a lot of uncertainty right now, which would make it really difficult to gain a sense of calm, though I have to say that looking at that photo that's a word that comes to mind. I always find being by the ocean brings a sense of clarity and calm, and I hope you had a moment of that too this morning

Hey @boutthattime how are you going today? Have you found any moments of peace in your day so far?

Re: Off work big changes

@Ru-bee @I had a pretty busy day I had nerve study in my wrists in the morning and more scans about 1. So that’s all the scans I think it’s just up to surgeons and docs to do reports. Then work cover make a decision so it dawned on me today that they’ll either accept the injuries or it’s going to court. I spoke to a good friend earlier and as we talked about that I had no option but to lodge the claim I know this logically but it feels like a huge weight in terms of they might stop paying me it might go to court and all the stigma around it
