Self-sabotage

Self-sabotage

We end up self-sabotaging ourselves for many reasons. Self-sabotage can severely impact mental health by creating a cycle of negative thoughts, low self-esteem, and emotional distress. When we undermine our success, we experience guilt, frustration, and anxiety, leading to feelings of unworthiness. This pattern can reinforce self-doubt, making it harder to trust ourselves and build confidence. Over time, chronic self-sabotage may contribute to depression and heightened stress, affecting daily life and relationships. That is why self-love is essential, as it lays the foundation for confidence, happiness, and overall well-being. Self-love fosters self-acceptance, helping us embrace our flaws and strengths without seeking validation from others.

Re: Self-sabotage

Hey @heera72 ,

How are you going?

I can certainly attest to self-sabotage. It was a viscious cycle and I kept falling into the trap of it.

What helps break the cycle?

Re: Self-sabotage

I believe breaking the cycle starts with having self-compassion for ourselves, positive self-talk, identifying patterns, and self-awareness.
