Trying and failing to not to let the sense of urgency turn to panic

Trying and failing to not to let the sense of urgency turn to panic

Hello,

It's really only early days on my job hunt, but I feel a real sense of urgency that is turning into panic. Bills are coming in and I have some urgent house repairs with hideous quotes for those coming in. And, besides that, as everyone is experiencing, everything is so expensive.

I have had a few rejections, which I am trying not to get to me. Haven't been asked for an interview yet. I have had plenty of good job opportunities in my past that, due to neurodivergence and issues with mental and chronic health, I have had to abandon and I am trying not to beat myself up about those.

I'm just not sure how to keep the panic at bay. I really need a job. I have a small contract but it's not a liveable wage at all. I was told it would increase, but that has not panned out and thinking it would really wasted valuable time when I could have been looking for something else.

Anyway, I am just feeling quite worried.
