I Love My Neurodivergence

I Love My Neurodivergence

Hi all!

I was diagnosed with autism in 2020. Today, at age 34 I am back to university to complete my masters degree. I know what I want to be: I will become a developmental educator and I plan on working closely with families and their loved ones who have a disability. I have a bright future ahead - but also lots of study ahead too. I will be busy studying for the next 2-3 years and I am so excited.

As a devoted lifelong learner I am looking forward to learning more about autism, inclusive education practices, and disability. What's not to love?

Isn't it great? I am currently learning about the current state of inclusive education in Australian schools. It is both sad and interesting to read and learn about the current state of education in Australia.
