Life can be a Pain

Life can be a Pain

Hi @BlueBay@Zoe7@Former-Member@Faith-and-Hope@utopia@oceangirl@TAB@Shaz51@PeppiPatty

I know there are more people I could tag but maybe I will think them up as I go along - actually I already have

I think I need my own thread - mostly my problem is chronic pain syndrome - I damaged my spine with the sporting excesses of my youth - a long time ago now - and I managed to rearrange it when I fell of my pushbike in a wind storm nearly 22 years ago and that seems a long time ago now but there is nothing they can do except treat the pain - and I do have Section 8 medication and I see a pain specialist

And the pain has been worse lately and wears me down and I get fed up and very tired -

I have issues with my mother as well - and although she died 2 years ago I still have bad times now and again - she was abusive and as well as I know myself and her this can get to me at times - and this is another reason I opened my own thread

Then there is TS - my Toxic Sister - she was under my skin for a while but not at the moment

So yesterday I felt so bad when I went to see the doctor about my back pain - and my pain specialist has cut my medication back several times over the last few years and she has gone too far - and I started to tell my doctor - yes - I cope with the pain better since my mother died - but it's driving me crackers atm and so are the memories of my mother

So that's it for now - I have had trouble opening this thread for some reason but now I have - I will run my own story - I would like to think I don't need to but yes - I do

You are all such wonderful supportive people - you are my soft place to land - that is so true

And anyone I have missed I will tag as I go along

Lots of hugs everyone

Re: Life can be a Pain

Hi @Former-Member@Shaz51@utopia@outlander@Zoe7

I have received an email from my uncle this evening that my aunt has been in intensive care for some days and neither of my relatives are well now - and the situation is serious - there is something I can't share with you that is really bad as well

I found go to Hobart as soon as I could but alas my daughter is very ill too and I can't go right now - and I am far from well too

Amazing how everything happens at once at times -

Thanks everyone - I think I will go to bed and hopefully get a good sleep after I have prayed for them - I also am praying for them but this feels like a time for special prayers

So I will catch up in the morning hopefully -

Dec

Re: Life can be a Pain

so sorry to hear that your aunt is in intensive care ..relatives unwell and daughter very ill too...

It is very overwhelming when so many situations with our family or close friends are overlapping each other at the same time....Even harder as we feel the heartbreak of not being able to make it better .....

I do understand @Owlunar and am here when I can be with words...here all of the time in the background....

I hope that you are able to speak to someone in the family via the telephone at least...

Trying to get as much rest as possible as all of your energy is drained is so important as you well know...saying a prayer allowing you to express your strong wish to help...

You are doing everything that you can @Owlunar

I hope that you are feeling better in yourself too....is it something that needs to be checked by a doctor?

It can be very easy to put ourselves last when overcome with worry for our loved ones...

Please keep your health first on the list.....

your many friends are here with you....

Re: Life can be a Pain

So sorry to hear about your aunt @Owlunar I am very glad that you did go and see your aunt and uncle when you did earlier this year - I know how unwell your uncle has also been and that he has had a lot to go through personally! I feel for you Dec with your daughter also being so unwell and you not doing great either - this is a really tough position for you to be in as I know you love them all very much and would like to be there for all of them

I do hope you managed some sleep last night as this is a time you also need to look after yourself - that is important Dec so you can be there for your family - and you can only do that if you are physically able to. I know emotionally you are already there for them in whatever ways you possibly can be and I hope your prayers will be answered

Thinking of you Dec

Oh @Owlunar, you never cease to amaze me - with all your own severe pain (physical & emotional), you're still ready to jump, even travel far for your loved ones. You must feel tawn wanting to be available for your daughter & aunt-uncle hugz Sometimes there's nothing we can do but pray. I'm so glad you have faith. Your prayers are helping far more than you know.

"Let go & let God"

Hugzzz ❤

Hi @Owlunar ..... 💐💕

I am tracking along with your news. I was thinking what @Zoe7 wrote, I am glad you went to visit your aunt and uncle when you did, especially with the interference from other family members going on .....and I hope that brings you some sense of peace in your current predicament with your own health and that of your daughter ......

Hugs Hon. Hope things are looking up for you soon .... as @Zoe7 said, answers to prayer ......

Re: Life can be a Pain

Oh @Owlunar. I'm so sorry to hear about your Aunt being in intensive care. And your Uncle being sick for so long. A double whammy.
And with your daughters health not good at the moment, as well as your own. You have such a lot of worry to deal with.
As the others have said, I'm glad you got to see your Aunt and Uncle earlier this year.
Unfortunately, you can only do what you are able to do. And with your own health not at its best, traveling might put too much strain on you.
I will be sending positive thoughts/prayers to you and your loved ones.
Stay strong. We are all here for you.
Hugs ♥♡♥
