Professional Information
Hoping this site may be useful for some. A lot of professional level medical info pages won't allow you to view content unless you can prove you're a medical professional. This one is an exception. It's not overview information- it's very detailed, and I've found it useful for getting some specific information I've been needing. The language isn't overly academic, but you may want to check up some of the terminology to clarify the meaning (online dictionary or suchlike).
You need to register to access the articles, but one of the registration categories is "Consumer/other" which is a pretty good catch-all.
