@avant-garde i used to make myself iced coffees with ice cream but I haven't done that for years now. Everything is just too much effort anymore.

It's difficult when you don't feel up for life... when it feels like the waves are crashing in and you can't seem to come up to breathe... it's too dark and the tunnel is too long... but there's something to be said for coming here and reaching out, that it's ok to not be ok.

We are not our battles, we aren't all the things we can't do, we are the ones that do more than any normal person can even imagine just by getting up each day.

We're the outcasts and the lonely, the forgotten and abused, the hurt and the broken, the ones that people seem to just say "oh they'll be right, they don't need me"

You are more than your circumstances, you matter, your voice matters and we hear you.

@avant-garde i just can't keep going like this, I'm completely broken beyond repair. This world has never been for me and it never will be. I've battled throughout my entire life and I can't anymore.

I was taught some atrocious things growing up and I still battle with them every day of my life, my worth, my value, how could anyone love me after everything that's happened, why would anyone want me, so I know that no one is broken beyond repair...

There's a story I remember, that a girl carried two buckets of water home from the well, one had a crack in it and the other didn't.

The girl didn't realise the crack in the bucket until she got home but the next time she went to fetch water she noticed on one side of the path were all these flowers where the water had been leaking from the cracked bucket.

We may have been taught how to walk, talk and act a certain way by others in our lives but we are more than our pasts, we are more than our futures even, we are priceless.

@avant-garde I'm sorry for what you have been through and you didn't deserve any of it. I've been through so much and the damage that's been done because of that will stick with me forever. I'm completely replaceable, if I disappeared right now noone would miss me, noone would know I was even gone. Maybe that's the way it's supposed to be, I really am just a mistake and I shouldn't have been born.

You are not a mistake, you are a kind and compassionate person who has had a horrible past that would be hard for anyone to overcome.
