@Till23
I do worry about cardiac issues. Because i've been told, and experienced, how the hormone therapy lowers your muscle mass. I've had to do strength work at a gym to counter act it. But knowing I will be on it for the rest of my life, I do worry about the affect it will have on my heart. After all, isn't it a muscle? And chemo, when it happens isn't going to help. I just don't do much cardio work at all. Mainly because i'm just too tired most of the time and the postural hypo-tension that i've had for almost 10 years now makes it very hard. When it even surprises a cardiologist how big and how quickly the blood pressure drop is as soon as i stand, it doesn't feel you with confidence that its just something to get used to.
We had a chicken cordon bleu recipe style we found on youtube for dinner tonight. Basically chicken cubed, mixed with cheese and ham, a bit of mustard covered in breadcrumbs and baked. I think i prefer it the traditional way, but that is a lot more fiddly to make.

Re: Life and trauma
@MJG017 don't worry about the lack of testosterone on your heart. Half of the population have that, so not a problem. Cardiac muscle is a different type of muscle to skeletal muscle and smooth muscle. Skeletal muscle is sensitive to testosterone, but not the other two to amy meaningful extent. Also, only some chemotherapeutic agents are cardiotoxic - so don't worry about something that may never happen.
I really have to go to bed - talk to you later

@MJG017 I'm not sure how much longer I'm going to be able to stay on the forums. I think my anonymity has been compromised 😞.

Re: Life and trauma
@rav3n I've been left pretty shaken up today tonight. Not sure whether to put it here though, I've already spoken to RiverSeal about it so I just have to wait now.
Probably more needing a distraction right now, anything to get my mind off if things. The fear of having to close my account down here really worries me cos I need this connection with people.

i think i know what you're referring to @Former-Member just know that we'll try our very best to avoid the closing option, and look into ways to make you feel safer. trust me, we don't want to lose you from our community too.
whenever i start distraction topics, i blank out and suddenly can't think of any topics. 😅
oh actually do you know of any good car brands/models (real life ones, not hot wheels or monster trucks hehe... although a monster truck would be sick)? i'm looking into buying a new car and went to a few dealerships today. was surprised that even used cars were sooo expensive!

Re: Life and trauma
Thanks @rav3n ❤️. It's been a really trying time lately.
There's so many different cars out there it all depends on what you are looking for. I'm a Holden girl by heart but in saying that I've owned a Mitsubishi aswell and I never had any complaints about it. Kia's seem to be hard to source parts for so I'd avoid them.
