Very normal to be forgetting right now @Former-Member your brain is probably in shut down so new info isn't gonna sink in.
You could call Lifeline (13 11 14) or SCBS (1300 659 467) instead? Literally if you can squeeze out the words 'flashbacks, need grounding' hopefully that would be all they need.
I just want to let you know in advance that I finish my shift at 10pm. Just so I don't up and disappear on you suddenly (well I would say goodnight but it might still feel abrupt) - I will be wrapping up in about 45 minutes. I'm here with ya till then tho (and another mod will be around after).

@Jynx i don't know why this is happening or even really what's happening. I've been waiting in chat queues with lifeline and SCBS for over 30 minutes. I can't manage a phone call right now.
Ok, thanks for the heads up.

@Former-Member Hi, I can stay around for a while if U want. Can U think about your Rosella. How happy U are when U first found him/her. Raising it up from a baby.

Re: Life and trauma
@Just hi. Thanks. I can't even think about anything right now. Every bit of my energy is focused on trying to stay in control.

Re: Life and trauma
@Former-Member breath into a paper bag. Slows it down. Or put your hands to your chest and feel the rithym.
