@avant-garde
I'm sorry to hear that you were left out, especially when you probably could have used it the most.
We have a similar issue with my support group. We have a private Facebook group, but had to start a Whatsapp chat (private as well) just to get info out to everyone. Some people don't use Facebook, some don't use whatsapp, some use neither. So it's means I have to make that little bit of extra effort to get announcements out so everyone gets notified. It's no major hardship and doesn't take much time... a simple copy and paste mostly, but it's part of the job. You just can't assume everyone sits there on the phone checking Facebook for updates all day.
Even just updating a website for you to check would have been handy. There's so many ways, especially for an event like that. It just takes a little time, effort, and foresight. Especially when you're dealing with vulnerable people who are busy just trying to survive.

Well my Easter jokes aren't coming along very well. I tried the basic substitution on the Christmas jokes but, well... you tell me.
What do you call an old bunnyman?
Water
What is the difference between a bunny man and a bunny woman?
Easter eggs.
How did Darth Vader know what to get Luke Skywalker for Easter?
He felt his eggs
Okay, that last one kinda works and made me laugh.

Re: Life and trauma
@MJG017 that last one was good 😂.
I think I've stressed myself out too much and now I'm having some pretty scary symptoms. That and I feel like I'm about to have a seizure so that's great fun.

😂 Very creative @MJG017 How's the kitten going? Keeping you busy?
@Former-Member Gotcha. Distraction chats it is then. Do you like cats? I'm minding my brother's cat right now and he has the silliest smooshy face and I always just want to pinch his cheeks

Re: Life and trauma
@Ru-bee i like cats but they do affect my allergies. Not that it stops me from giving them cuddles any chance I can. Awww your brothers cat sounds adorable 😍

Just try to take it easy and minimize everything you can. Relax and just think about how hilarious my jokes are. 😁
Just try to distract yourself with anything you can to keep that stress as low as you can. We're here with you.
@Ru-bee
The kitten is going well. Like a furry Energizer bunny! She does like feet. She will wait it ambush just inside a door and wait for me to walk past to spring out and pounce on my feet. So it's very hard to not stop on her at the moment. Especially at night with a most black kitten on darkish carpet with little lighting. You just walk back to bed and feel a new kitten sized slipper on your foot! 😁
