Looking for all those that are intending to study in 2025 to complete the cert IV Mental Health Peer Work.
This is a space for our study group, where we can discuss what we are studying and hopefully get some input from current Sane Peer support workers.

Yes it is definitely good to feel as if you are moving forward again which builds confidence after years of stagnation on the wrongly prescribed medications that set you back. Happy to see a positive and connecting in peer work support.

Thank you! I did Information Science postgrad but after Covid I was treated assertively in the community mental health space so all facets of my life plummeted including misdiagnosis and overly medicated interventions. Thankfully today I look beyond the harm to being the best version of myself and making sure I don’t perpetuate that sort of professional ignorance from infiltrating my own recovery.

Thank you! Taken time but now onwards and upwards. I needed to just drop the past and let it go. It is possible to do with the right supports and self-compassion (advocacy too).

Hi Tyme,
I did some work on my workplace, health and safety assessment this afternoon. However I just found another answer to one of the other questions so I need to start up my laptop again. On this assessment I need to reference so I hope I have that right. I am trying to reference some websites with APA 7th edition. I am going to tackle one unit a day until Wednesday night so I am not overwhelming myself. I believe in taking breaks. How are you doing?
@Sequester I am so glad to hear that you are doing much better now. Are you doing the peer work certificate too? I guess you would know better than anyone how important advocacy is.
