Cheers . I can’t do things like meditate but when I’m doing resin projects it’s one of the only times I turn off from everything and I just focus on the project it’s very addictive

I’ve sold a few things now but if anything it’s cost me money to this point . But I suspected that was going to happen at the start. I started doin it because I love building things with Timber especially recycled timber and I thought it could be a side hustle . I’ve learnt heaps so hopefully that’s still possible because I really love it . I said in another post I’m going to put more up on YouTube on how to . Something small in a mould because resin isn’t cheap and it’s best to start small. But I’ll go over the hole process . I’ve seen people make flat pictures with it but I haven’t done any of that

I’m gunna try explain that I’ll try attach a pic of a mould here. But I’m a nutshell it’s a piece of melamine, what they make kitchen cupboards out of , completely covered im Celatape then you build a frame or box around the timber your using with MDF all available at Bunnings . Then you silicon Around all edges it’s basically gotta be water tight for a couple of days . Then you clamp the timber down or it will float on the resin and you heat the resin one to get bubbles out but it also Helps it cure. They take about a week to cure . I’m gunna find a way to add videos to this site or see if I can add my YouTube channel I’ll attach a pic

Wow @boutthattime !
I want to learn more! How do you cure the resin? I know there's UV cured resin and heat cured.
Also, just a note, you won't be able to add your youtube channel as it will breach anonymity. Sorry! Even though I'm itching to see it...
