One Day at a time here

One Day at a time here

hello everyone 😎

Was not sure where to write this

so, I have started a new thread

thank you @Oaktree , @Ru-bee for thinking of me today 😍

my results from the doctor was not really good

  • my Kidney function have decreased to 17%
  • my Liver and diabetes levels are up
  • I have Osteoporosis which i will need medication as my bone density has decreased because of the kidney disease
  • they believe that the Liver function is up because of the kidney disease
  • Kidney disease affects every part of your body
  • scan also shows the tinny of my kidney

Re: One Day at a time here

Not nice for either you or hubby @Shaz51 😢.

Do you have something that keeps you occupied whilst you stay awake with him? (Eg youtube videos? I recall you watch some during the day sometimes 😊).

Re: One Day at a time here

Aww @Shaz51 that's so rough. Are you someone who is able to take naps? I sometimes even go for a lil 'power down' - not sleeping per se, but just shutting out all sensory stimulation for a time. It definitely helps.

Do you know what's been keeping hubby up? Sending you some hugs lovely 💜

Hello @AuntGlow , @Appleblossom , @Dimity , @Chasingsunsets @Jynx , @tyme , @Honeymoon , @Till23 , @AlwaysMyself

was a very big day yesterday and a big week

I am thankful that they did all the tests yesterday as we drove a long way to get there

the specialist just sent me an email message saying my Right ear hearing is very bad (only got one hearing aid)

But R hearing is too good to meet criteria for a Cochlear Implant (once you get this done you cannot go back to the hearing aid)

but she has suggested to go on NDIS as soon as I can ??

other news I have done bone xrays

scans of my insides, spine

doing ultra sound on monday

blood test , need to make a doctors appointment now
