6 months... i can imagine that feels a long time away sometimes. But i hope it goes quicker than it sounds.

Is that when you can start fistula prep? Or can you start that now in order to be ready in 6 months time for dialysis?

6 months will be another check up @AlwaysMyself no fistula plans yet unless something happens before that

Our because of the complications, I have scans and xrays to do

Waiting game is hard and kind of controlling your life

I'm such a proactive planner @Shaz51 , that not being able to do anything for the next 6 months and "just waiting for further decline" would be sooo hard !!

Oh, i dont think i've mentioned to you (but you may have read 😊, but in case not). I know we've mentioned before briefly about autism traits - myself and your hubby.

Saw a MH-specific GP this week. She asked if i might have autism - strongly suspects. First time a doctor/psych has ever broached this idea to me. Of course many friends have suggested this to me 😅.

So a check up in 6 months now? For kidney function and plan? I hear this is challenging and hard to tackle something that will just get worse and nothing you can really do to fix it is definitely hard and difficult to sit with. Thinking of you my friend and very grateful for your update.
