Sorry to hear you have additional issues to contend with @Shaz51 😔 as you are already dealing with so much.

My understanding is that the MVP should not present any issues for you.

And the BAV is a congenital thing which generally requires some monitoring to ensure it does not get worse.

How are you feeling about it all? 💕

Re: One Day at a time here

Did they think these things had been causing problems @Shaz51 like maybe fatigue? And do they need treatment? As @Emelia8 said it's probably good the doctors are checking, and able to monitor in future.

Our one of a kind Shazzy. We'll celebrate you

@Dimity , @Emelia8

Glad I got an answer but not to have it added on to the list

He said it will deteriorate as I get older and will need surgery to the valve in the future

Having a MRI in June to see what percentage of the blood is going around the body

And then update blood tests and ongoing appointments to keep an eye on everything 😊

Good morning @Shaz51,

That sounds like a lot to take in. I can imagine it feels overwhelming having more added on top of everything else.

I hope you’re getting some support as you process all of this today 💛

Re: One Day at a time here

It's a lot @Shaz51 but better to know. You must have very good doctors to have picked it up.

Sending you hugs 🫂. And best wishes for Mr shaz's appointment today.

Re: One Day at a time here

I'm glad it's been picked up @Shaz51 so that it can be properly monitored into the future.

Sounds like you have a good medical team to support your complex physical health issues. I hope you are also receiving appropriate emotional and psychological support, which is equally as important. 💕
