Mood

Hi, I have not posted here in a few months. I’m struggling with intense anxiety and depressed mood lately, feeling exhausted and unmotivated.

Re: Mood

Hi @Parzival I'm sorry to hear you are still really struggling. I read some of the previous posts and know this has been an issue for you for most of this year. It's no wonder you are feeling exhausted and unmotivated. Anyone is a similar situation would be. It's draining and it just grinds you down... I think most of us here have experienced that and it's so difficult.

Are you still struggling to get much support, especially with work? I know you've said you don't really have anyone around you to support you before. I know what that's like and i can't really think of a better way to describe it as 'exhausting'. It may be helpful to just try and forget about anyone else at the moment. Try to forget the loneliness and the lack of support around you and just focus on yourself. Make that you one and only focus for now. It's far to difficult to try and work on all these different things at once. It's a bit like those people who keep plates spinning on poles... you can only keep them spinning for so long. I know I had to do a similar thing. I had to focus on myself, and get myself in a slightly better place before I was even capable of tackling the rest of life.

It's hard and it takes time. But it just feels like the time has come where you just need to take care of your own mental well being by just forgetting everything else and trying to heal yourself. Then try to work on other things.

We're here to help and support you however we can and there are those crisis lines as well, it you just need another human voice to talk to. Just be kind to yourself. You've been dealing with this for a while and anyone would be equally exhausted. So as I said, we're here for you and maybe just start by letting us know each day how you're doing, even if it's the same thing each day. Keep that connection going and hopefully the day will come soon where you say "I think i'm feeling a little bit better today". Continue to use whatever supports around you that you can and focus on that self-care and just see what happens. You're not alone parzival.
