@Oaktree I do that with soup (tomato). I cut the toast into little soldiers and dip them in. It does seem to be a smarter way to enjoy the toast though. I may have to give it a try next time I have backed beans.

I like your style if not necessarily your menu, I tend to do a simpler dinner and have a heavy lunch.

nine years on the forums, that is longer than many of my careers lasted, not through choice often simply 'economic necessity' saw may careers ending early.

I guess you have had your successes over this time, it must make for a lot of satisfaction. Were you originally trained in counselling or the like, not being trained in any like profession and suffering dreadfully from foot in mouth makes me a little circumspect about contributing at times.

Hi, yes I am usually cooking just for myself. Hubby likes different things to me which makes it tricky.

I'm similar @Oaktree I try to plan ahead really big meals to have leftovers for like the next week.... but whenever I'm in between it's always hard to come up with something - and I often find that I get overenthusiastic with cooking projects and then don't have energy for them later... poor abandoned wilty greens in bottom of my fridge... 😅
