Who's Up for a Random Chat?

Being a night shift worker, I woke up at the ungodly hour 7:30am and left my home at 9:45am to drive almost 2 hours for a lunch date!

Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The drive was horrendous with construction and diversions and auto accidents, but was well worth it in the end.

Then, on the drive home, I met up for a coffee date with a new friend. I do not see that relationship moving beyond a casual friendship though.

Now I’m absolutely exhausted and home again. Next, dinner then bed. RIGHT? That’s the theory anyway.

Chances are, once 10 o’clock rolls around, I’ll start waking up again!

I enjoyed the day and my time with Glen… looks like this might turn into something more.

I know right @Shaz51 my air conditioner is SO OLD I don't think it's gonna cope 🤣

And the kitchen is still warm

Ach yeah @Shaz51 if I wanna be able to sleep I gotta leave my bedroom door open, which means even bigger space to keep cool!! I also struggle falling asleep without some kind of sheet or blanket which is so hard in the summer!

It is hot here today over 30 and forecast 37 Wednesday. Am glad we are not in a major fire zone. Will indulge in an ice-cream, crank up the new split system and wait for a cool change.

Yesterday was a lazy day after working a shift on Friday night. Do you do shifts with SANE or are the hours sane?
