Am Not Coping

Am Not Coping

I am really not coping at the moment but this is entirely on ME!

This is a message for a few people on here @utopia @Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member

that I asked could be passed on but it seems that only part of it has been and I understand from the responses that have made it through my emails that I have caused untold distress for some people. I was not going to return because of what I felt I put people through but I especially wanted @utopia and @Former-Member to know that they were not wrong at the time and I was going through a real crisis period. You both held me together for longer than I could myself until the point where my own self-destructive thoughts overwhelmed me.

The entire message that I sent to SANE is below:

I have just viewed the multitude of emails and messages sent from forum members and members of the SANE team – as well as the text and voice message left on my phone.

I have not been able to communicate with anyone since the other night as I have been recovering from what ended up being an unsuccessful attempt to end the pain.

At the time I was in a very distressed state and I did want to stop the pain and all I seemed to achieve is to cause others pain and worry and that is the last thing I wanted to do – I just wanted to end mine and say goodbye to everyone beforehand so my future absence was explained. I should have realised that the message I posted would have concerned some people but I really was not in any state to think about the repercussions for others.

I am so sorry I caused so much distress to others – that is something I will have to hopefully try and live with.

I don’t believe after the concern and anxiety I caused to so many that I will ever be able to return to the forum.

Can someone from the SANE team please explain all this to all those involved and pass on my gratitude for their compassion, concerns and kind words throughout the time I have been part of the ‘forum family’.

Thank you and sorry again for the difficult position I put everyone in.

I do not want any responses from any of you. I just wanted to let you know exactly what has happened and let you know how truly sorry I am for hurting people I have come to think of as friends and family, and who I really care about.

Your support, advice and compassion are what make you all the wonderful people you are.

@utopia and @Former-Member I am so sorry that the trust you placed in me has now been broken because of my actions. I also felt that we had a stronger connection, especially over the last week, and you both helped me in ways I cannot even describe or explain. I was not pulling away from you two - just wanted to pull away from myself. I couldn't cope with my own feelings and no-one or nothing was actually going to be able to stop me at the time. It's now just another failure to add to my list of failures. I really don't know what else to say to you both but to reiterate my heartfelt 'sorry'.

Lol @Former-Member. We all have embarrassing moments like that.
Yesterday - we are leaving the Wall to Wall Festival - and my son starts yelling. I look over at him in the car & there between his legs is a European Wasp. I pull the car over - annoying other drivers. I give my boy some paper to squash it - as it's just sitting there. He kills it and then I fling it out the window.
He tells me - it flew straight into his leg & knocked itself out. Lol.
I think the insects are now after him. Maybe it'sggenetic?

hahaha that's funny - a similar thing happened to my sister but she was getting off a bus and someone trod of her skirt - it only had pressed buttons and the whole skirt came off - I did laugh at the time - so naughty of me - but I didn't know what else to do.... @Former-Member

I actually can't think of anything atm...

I'll tell you about the time a 'misplaced' a kid a school - others may already know this story.

I had this boy in grade 3 years ago - he was a bit of a 'devil' but was gorgoeous. One day he went to the toilet and he seemed to be gone for ages. Nearly 40 minutes went by and I sent someone to look for him - nope, not in the toilet. I was just about to send someone to the office and as I opened up the very big wooden box we kept the pillows in - there he was, in the box, sound asleep - poor little vegemite - I closed the lid quietly and left him to sleep.

haha lol @Zoe7@utopia

i remember when i first started high school- its very daughting and i was trying to find a room number- it took me 5 minutes to actually find the classroom- little did i know that in the time i wasnt there they swapped classrooms as they needed a white board for a presentation. so i recognised some of the people in the room so just casully walked in t the room that i thought i was apologised for being late and sat down. everyone was looking at me including the teacher and then the teacher finally said uhhh what class are you in? so i gave him the class and he said oh we swapped classrooms, you in that room pointing across at a room just a bit further down the hall. so i awkwardly repacked everything back up and walked out into the other class rooom and then had to explain to my actualy teacher why i was like 10 minutes late hahaha

Re: Am Not Coping

You can't write this stuff @Zoe7 @Former-Member. I can iimagine people don't believe me - or that I've exagerated bits of the story. But it's all true. Now my boy is sending out vibes to the insect world. Heaven help us.
I love that the boy came back from the toilet and then climbed into the box and fell asleep.
Ok - this one was when I was 26.
Everyti I got in my car - the temtemperature gage instantly shot up to high. I checked what I could under the bonnet - with my limited knowledge of vehicles. Water - no radiator leak. All hoses connected and tight. So I stopped driving my car. Rang my brothers mate and asked if he could come and help me. He lived ages away. But after a long week at work - he drove all the way to help. I explained that as soon as I turned the key in the ignition - within seconds the temperature gage would shoot up to high.
He popped the bonnet. Said everything looked okay under there.
He gets in the car - turns the key - waits a few seconds - gives me a strange look - waits a few seconds more - then turns to me and says;
"You ***(bleeping) idiot. That's the fuel gage you're looking at"!!!!
I'd been driving that car for over a year!!!!
