Gamers - World of Warcraft & other adventures

Gamers - World of Warcraft & other adventures

A few of us where joking around in the Peer Group Chat about starting a World of Warcraft guild. Anyone who plays World of Warcraft interested in playing together? It's not a free game so I can understand if no one else wants to play....just thought I'd ask in case other people are already playing. I do have the game and a subscription currently. We could use our forum names and maintain anonymity.

Outside of that maybe one night we could do a free game. My suggestion would be Goose Goose Duck available free on Steam. I can't remember off the top of my head whether there would be an anonymity issues with that game or not. I don't think so but I guess someone would have to check it out first. It does have voice chat built in - so I guess @tyme & @Jynx - what do you think? Otherwise, I'm sure we could come up with a free game we could play with no anonymity issues. For example, something basic like https://skribbl.io/

Anyway, just thought I throw it out there and see if anyone was interested in any of these?

@Ainjoule

Boardgame arena is another one for people who like board games. Not all are free, some games are premium, but only the hosting player needs to have a subscription to host a game... free players are free to then join. They have a heap of online - browser based modern and classic board games to play.

People could just create a free account with their forum name... there is a text chat option though. Premium does have voice/video chat though. I don't remember if that can be disabled by the host... I'd have to check.

@Ainjoule I wish I had been in this PGC chat. I didn't know people still played WoW. I played it centuries ago. @MJG017 The board game arena sounds interesting. Is Boggle free?

Re: Gamwers - World of Warcraft & other adventures

@Cleo2 Its generally the more modern games require premium, e g., Azul, Ticket to Ride, Catan, Wingspan etc.

I just had a look and it seems Boggle isnt there! Which surprised me. I am out at the moment and on my phone so maybe I missed it

Private server? You might want to consider joining ours...
Interest?

Re: Gamers - World of Warcraft & other adventures

Are you talking about World of Warcraft @Kaliesqe (or one of the other games)? I didn't think there were private servers with WoW...was just wondering if we could form a group on a public one. But sure I'd be interested in joining yours if you are talking about WoW. Are you on the American servers or Oceanic?

I don't play any of these games @Ainjoule ...

I'm not sure it's my thing, but I'm interested to see how this will turn out.
