Re: Listening to triggering music

@Jynx it bothers me people act without asking you. I’m not sure if you consider it “hitting on me”, it’s more like he would consider me as a potential spouse. We haven’t actually seen each other in years. People typically won’t marry until they talk to the person, at least in the current day and age. It’s just a bit difficult with family, because everything needs to be handled delicately. I’m not super keen on the idea, at least for now

@creative_writer yeah totally, consent is everything!! And like, especially, ESPECIALLY for folks who have experienced what you have. Do you think you could talk to them, tell em you know they mean well but it makes you feel unsafe or something?

@Jynx I’m just frustrated that my mum’s relative even mentioned it to him. I don’t like people crossing limits. My mum told her to not say anything to him. I also prefer not breaking hearts of my own family. I’ll admit he is kind hearted and mature, but I am just not attracted to him

Yeah for sure @creative_writer it's the acting on your behalf that would be getting me all irked too. And boom, no attraction!! So no point imo. You got the right attitude too, not wanting to end up hurting him. Ugh, the pressure is so much for you hey. Big hugs comin atcha! 🫂🫂

Re: Listening to triggering music

@Jynx the pressure is a lot. People try to get their kids married young. I’m above the average age of marriage as we speak. I know we all go at our own pace, and people shouldn’t be pressured to rush. Rushing would only increase the chances of divorce

I’m craving dopamine through substance use. I’m away from home rn, so I can’t use it anyways, but it hurts so much. I know it’s not going to be healthy in the long term, but resisting feels hard

My brain won’t slow down. Is it because of ADHD or is it because of Bipolar? I don’t know

I took PRN, I feel things have settled. I feel sleepy. No more caffeine for me today because I think it was adding to it.

I do still deeply feel like something is wrong with me though

I am frustrated with myself that I haven’t been able to do much today. Brain won’t concentrate, I’ve been lightheaded and physical pain is stubborn
