Re: feeling sensory overloaded

@ArraDreaming It sounds like you've had one of those days we all dread Arra. Take it easy, rest up and hopefully tomorrow is a bit easier. The constant red lights do my head in!!

Re: feeling sensory overloaded

Hey @MJG017 and @tyme I keep forgetting things then I think that is not making my tendandy to get overwhelmed and overstimulated for example today it was 26 and I forgot to wear a tshirt and I worked in the sun all day

Re: feeling sensory overloaded

Hey @ArraDreaming ,

Do you feel it is getting worse?

To be honest, I don't think it was so much about it being so warm for us today, but moreso that we have not had such warm weather in a while - our bodies don't know how to cope!

I'm reading that a few Victorians are feeling a similar way today...

I didn't know what to do with myself today! I turned the air con on, then it got cold so I turned it off, then I got irritated because it was hot and I didn't realise....

I DON'T KNOW!!!

I'm not sure if you do this, but I always check the weather every morning so I know what I need to bring/wear... do you do that?

Re: feeling sensory overloaded

What if u have a tumour on my brain so that’s why i keep forgetting things @tyme or what if it’s from hitting my head too many times

I wear shorts and a tshirt with a jumper every day so I don’t really need to check only for the kids and that @tyme you know, so we can put them in the right clothes

Re: feeling sensory overloaded

@ArraDreamingI know when I'm feeling stressed, I tend to forget things that I wonder "how could I have forgotten something so simple!?" It seems to have been happening quite a bit this year. I tend to just think our minds get a bit distracted and become a bit forgetful. Maybe the stress of what happened with your son is just catching up with you. I don't know... even small worries can add up over time and we don't realise it until it reaches a certain point. See how you go for the rest of the week. Try to take some time to relax and do some things you enjoy. Maybe a bit of fishing on the weekend...
