I’m incapable of being Normal
I’ve joined this forum in a last desperate attempt of reaching some sort of help or guidance as how to be helped.
A short introduction of myself, I’m a 26 female and hugely empathetic. I struggle greatly with the thought that everyone around me will never love me and care for me that way that I love and care for them. It is very lonely feeling like you’re not worthy enough for anyone to love and truly care for. A normal person would simply stop giving that love and stop caring. I cannot. I am so unbelievably exhausted and drained and extremely miserable. In conjunction with this I never feel heard or understood or important enough to be anybody’s priority. This may be due to the fact that I am so empathetic that when I do actually need help and support, I will play the issues off lightly so that the person I am talking to feels okay and isn't overwhelmed.
I struggle with insomnia as my head never switches off. I can’t eat because I always feel sick. When day to day activities don’t go to plan I have outbursts I can’t control as if I’m a different person and I’m watching from afar. This greatly impacts my relationship that I’m trying so hard not damage as I navigate my way through this.
I feel like I’ve lost all control of who I am, and I’m so exhausted or trying I’m so scared that it’ll never change.
I’m currently seeing a psychologist, I can’t remember what number this is. Therapists and counseling hasn’t helped me in the past as I cannot truly open up or they don’t grasp the concept or I trick them into believing I’m getting better.
the outcome I’m trying to achieve is a clear outline of where I’m supposed to go and how I get help and how I get better.
