I am sorry to say but I don't listen to a lot of gay pop! Or straight pop.... I am too busy listening to synthwave and hi-tech 😅

I started listening to pop music ironically, now I just listen.

• anything by Chappel Roan
• Hot to Go

So far that’s all I’ve got. Let’s make a Spotify playlist?

Ugh I wish we could @Oaktree but our names would be attached right? The collaborative playlists I've made on there all have the profile of the person who added the song right there so bye bye anonymity. Same for youtube playlists I think. I wonder if there's some kind of work around... 🤔

@Ainjoule I can share some links to songs I like if you like, but it'll have to be a time when I'm not flitting between a million threads - feel free to remind me next week!!

Also lol that's happened to me... I think human brains literally just like the familiar 😅 or that's what I tell myself!

Could Sane set up a Spotify account under the name of Sane?

Thanks. My current Spotify name links back to too many socials so I probably shouldn't at the moment. But it was good idea. I will keep a list of songs and maybe we can put out the list later so that people can program their own Spotify playlists.

The hiccups with that is that because your profiles would be visible if we let you/anyone add songs, we wouldn't be able to just make a public playlist. Thus, the work of putting the playlist together would fall to us. I'm sure it wouldn't take up too much of our day, but I'd definitely have to run it by the team first!! We'd also have to pay for a Spotify account and I'm not sure that's a high priority for our budget 😅

The only other thing I could think of is if we made a free account with YouTube, and gave 'custodianship' of it to the Community Guides to curate? Again, this is all just brainstormy ideas and can't make any promises! But hey, if we're keen and the community is keen, we can make magic happen I'm sure 😉

You can't create playlists on a free Spotify account? I must admit I have never tried. To be honest I like the idea of YouTube account more though because I enjoy watching the music videos, lol....but that is just a personal preference.
