I am embarrassed, I am known for beginning conversations in the middle of a paragraph, automatically assuming one knows what I am talking about.

As you know I am new to the Sane forums. I have seen posts talking about sharing a coffee . I wondered if this was code, as it were, for.... well I don't know what?

Is it that people actually know each other outside of the forums or does it mean a zoom or text catch up? And what does that mean or tell me about the Sane forums.

I also wondered if there were a save draft function?

Your second assessment was correct.

When you see people on the forums talking about sharing a cuppa or meeting for coffee they are talking about one settling down with a cup comforted by fellowship.

Everyone is anonymous on here so nobody knows anyone's identities or where they live, it's a coffee in solidarity on the forums 🙂

Hi @Shaz51 Do those who post with a title such as peer support or community guide etc come with lived experience and some guidance?

Often I see/read their own experience used to develop/flesh out a point or strategy.

Do you and your colleagues not find this triggering?

You might say well Sooth what about you? You press hearts and comment.

The fact is I am a little triggered but my heart goes out to them. I would find the thought, that their post went unacknowledged, hard to bear. But even I know there are some topics that are quite beyond me. I wish I had had something like this back in the day.

So how does one/you manage this. Or does Sane have secret recruitment and selection process that can determine kindness?
