Hey @Leeanne1 ,
Good on you for letting your son know how you felt. I hear what he is saying and that it can be hard.
Please know we are thinking of you and hear how incredibly hard things must be for you at this moment.
Have you been able to do anything pleasant for yourself at the moment?

Hi @Leeanne1
I'm truly sorry for the pain you've been experiencing. This has been an especially difficult week, navigating so many challenging issues while also grieving a significant loss.
I want to acknowlege the emotional weight of losing someone who has played a role in your life, while also facing complex relationship issues with your children.
During this, you've managed to take the brave step of reaching out here for support, and have connected with people who care about you, your mother, friend and your daughter, whom I hope you have a lovely visit with today.
You've also shown self-care by engaging in your hobby of crocheting, which not only provides comfort in times of distress but helps build resilience as we discover ways to soothe ourselves, so good on you.
I hope this marks the begginning of strengthening your connections with your children, grounded in shared compassion for what you've all endured, and forgiveness for past hurts or differences.
Be gently with yourself, grief is a deeply personal journey.
Kindly Alisse

I'm so sorry that hapened to you @Leeanne1, I can't even begin to imagine what that must've felt like. Even though I cannot understand what it is you are going through, I do know what it's like to have complex family issues and to be misunderstood and treated poorly. It can be so hurtful…
That's wonderful that you can crochet, good on you! I don't even know how to sew a button on — so I'm impressed. I'm happy to see that you've got a counsellor and have been spending time with your mum and saw/will see your daughter today, I hope it goes well!
Please know that you're not alone, and I hope that you can continue to reach out to us and other supports during this difficult time.
Looking forward to hearing from you, take care.

That is completely understandable, @Leeanne1, you are allowed to have mixed emotions — He was your husband… And I feel for your children — death is hard and everyone grieves differently. All you can do is be available to them for if and when they may need you.
But I hope that you are feeling supported throughout this?
Remember to try to be kind to yourself 🧡
