Hello @Appleblossom, @Determined, @Former-Member

the appointment with the specialist went good , all the blood test came back ok ,except for one which he has very high Cholesterol

He wants to stop the meds , he has tried reducing the meds but soon finds out he can not cope without them

the specialist said he needs to take a long time to go off them , he has been on them for a year and a half

wondering how I can help him to go off them when he wants too

No rain today -- It was 35 degrees here, sooo hot and still like the cyclone was sucking all the air away , so tomorrow should be raining and windy but on the edge of the cyclone

he wants to go off the meds by himself

I don't know @Shaz51

I think sometimes its better to just get it over with if going off something. But so long as you have psychiatrists ok that it wont be dangerous etc... i.e. not too slow, but again that has to be done with psychiatrist approval. I hated the anti psychotics as i couldnt work or function on them.

I tend to go slow when coming off meds.

Glad his general health is alright .. we all struggle with cholesterol.

@Shaz51

That must be tough. Not sure what I would do if my darling decided she wanted to do that all by herself without dr guidance.

Is his mind made up or just talking about it?

I have to admit though I hate being on meds and avoid at all costs as I seem to ber hyper sensitive.

My feet have fallen arches, which probably led to pronation. I am also pledged with large bunions. I can take these shoes out of the box and start hiking with no worries. They really are the only shoes I have in my house. From the slippers through the sandles, to the sneakers and finishing with the leather boot. Also, Orthofeet stands behind their product 100%.
