Family separation

Hi it's been a tough fathers day for me second year without hearing from my adult kids after the nasty marriage breakdown and divorce involving domestic violence against me by my ex wife. I am very down because l care and think about my kids every day and l have a granddaughter that l haven't seen for 2 years also. I feel my ex wife is controlling the kids having turned them against.me .I worry about my granddaughter growing up without her grandfather because my daughter is too selfish to allow her to see me. I have never hurt anyone but l feel like l am.such a bad dad and l hate to think what crap my granddaughter is being told.It takes away meaning to my life. I doubt the situation will ever improve. Why why do people still hurt me???

Ive been offered a 1 bedroom place in new town but I'm not taking it. Because I have to much stuff for a 1 bedroom so I'm turning it down. When I first did my application they said if I turned it down I wouldn't go the the bottom of the list but I'll call them Tuesday morning I'm scared of moving in to the unknown I'm stressing out

Can you please give me some feed back on this

Ok thanks for clarifying @Leeanne1! I am also on the housing list, and from what I understand, you are correct in that you won't go to the bottom of the list if you knock back an offer. But I have also heard that if you are one person, you wouldn't get offered a two-bedroom place, as they need every room to be filled since there are so many people waiting. So if you are hoping for more space, it may not work out that way.

I would suggest calling the housing department anonymously first and asking questions before you make up your mind. I am not an expert in housing, so this is just what I know as a person on the list and having conversations about it.

I'm so unsettled atm my mind is racing and my throat is burning worrying about the housing that I have been offered
