That's good news from dietician @Shaz51 and good your BSL in going down

I am trying to fit aquarobics into my week, so I can be your water exercise buddy!

You'll have to wear one of those night mask things (that block out light while sleeping) when you are around Mr Shaz - that might give him a hint!

Good luck with the kidney Dr.

A walk is a walk whether it's fast or slow lol @Till23 . I'm sure your dog enjoyed it. Just to get out and smell new smells 🙂

Volunteering sounds interesting too! Do you volunteer often?

@Till23 Sucks to suck at sucking hey!!

Bahaha

Reminds me of,

If you get a bigger bed, do you have more bed room or less bedroom? 😋

And another tangential one...

Isn't it funny how we have fingertips but not toetips, yet we can tiptoe but we can't tipfinger!

🤣🤣 @Jynx

The walk was for my dog only @tyme which he definitely enjoyed.

I got enough exercise standing and moving around for 5hours at the "cafe" part of the kind of soup kitchen type place where I volunteer. They provide breakfast and lunch as sit down meals and people can also get coffee, tea and milo and some cakes (at the "cafe") all for free. It's a hub so the people can get access or info about housing services, some medical services incl drug and alcohol, victims of crime, social work etc. It's a really fantastic set-up I think. I usually volunteer one day a week, although I did two this week. I'm also setting up some volunteering for breast and ovarian cancer. I've done some fund raising as an individual, but will do some publicity and other volunteering as well for the event which is a walk/run.

Oh @Jynx you're on fire, mind you don't burn yourself 🤣

Amazing @Till23 - totally amazing. Your work makes such a difference to people's lives!

Wow. Wonderful @Till23 , way to go my friend 🧡

I hope so @tyme. My paid work has always been in helping type roles like healthcare. When I retired recently I felt a bit lost, like I had lost the meaning for my life which exacerbated my cPTSD, depression and anxiety. So I hope I am still able to contribute to society by volunteering and at the same time find meaning and ameliorate my MH issues.

If you are interested, we may have some volunteer roles here on the forums in the not-too-distant future @Till23 🙂

I can keep you in the loop.
