There's no kindnesses or anything when someone is explaining something that member isn't comfortable with.

That worker. Sits there on shift tagging members all the time but if explain something or just want a chat why is it me who gets my head taken off

I don't want to sound mean but if we can't tagg peer workers why don't sane just remove them just have moderates

Hi @Sunnyside226 thankyou for writing you like writing to me. I must admit, when I first got on Sane forums, I felt intimidated by the moderators too.

But, then they, the moderators have the same problems we have. A few of them are very honest with their own mental health ups and downs.

I like my GP. I have NDIS. That means I got a carer 12 hours a week

I have tests done esp. MRIs.

I go in a daze very easily.

Especially when we have to watch what we eat , very annoying

I know you didn’t ask me but my favourite food is potatoes and any way they come! I do like spaghetti though. I have a pasta maker that I use sometimes. I just asked my Italian friend for some recipes. I guess I will just use google though as her family cookbook doesn’t really have pasta recipes.

I need to revolutionise my nutrition in 2025. I need to work out how to eat like a normal person. I am a short but large lady. I am going to need to learn how to eat more fruits and vegetables. I looked up an old fashioned food pyramid yesterday.

I like my doctors too. I have a lovely GP that I have been seeing for about 12 years and I have been seeing my psychiatrist for about 7 years all up with a break in between. She knows me really well so that is great. She knows if I ask for help that it’s serious because generally I don’t ask for much. I am lucky but of course doctors do move on eventually.

@PeppyPatti I know you struggle with your health burdens. I try and be mindful of how other members feel when I know they faced with their own difficulties and hardship. I tiptoe around when I have a sense someone is not coping and don't want to add to their load. I hope others would offer me the same courtesy. I know your operation is up in the air I'm just hoping something happens soon but in the meantime hope you find continued support and care from our online community.

It takes me hours to wake up I'm not a morning person. Unless I've done active over night or have a meeting

Doctors. They are ok. I don't always like them

PS if we went camping I would sleep so much because I hate the flys
