Today my partner and my parents sat down to their first meal together. It was a success! I thought my partner did very well. After lunch, we invited him to our place, but he put it off to another time. As we were leaving, he told me quietly that he was feeling nervous and overwhelmed. I didn't realise until that point, but reflecting now, I think that he is an anxious type. I'm really proud of him for how he conducted himself today. Looking forward to what the future brings.
