Hi @Ainjoule @Dimity Haven’t been on the forums last few days. Needed to keep my mind occupied. Been making Christmas Cards and sleeping. Tuesday last week I had initial appointment with Haematologist to discuss my ongoing low lymphocytes ie 0.4 to 1.2. Bloods taken to test for variety of things including leukaemia. Each time phone rang last few days I’ve been hoping it wasn’t Haematologist.

no phone call from her to date. Next appointment in 3 weeks time.

these are some of the Christmas Cards I have made within last few days for local Arts and Craft market.

The cards are great @Former-Member . Do some of them fold out? A lot of work and very clever.

Your health must be a worry. I do hope the results are good. You've had so much happening with your eye surgeries. 3 weeks is a long time to wait for such important results.

@Dimity Card with the candles plus card with small tree fold out. When put into an envelope the only thing you see with one is the small tree and green either side of it. Have done one similar which has Santa face on the front and Santa inside.

my lymphocytes have been low for years, is first time I’m seeing specialist about their levels. Due to no phone call by now I’m feeling bit easier within myself, would have heard by now if was something serious. Is so many possible known causes for neutropenia. Haemologist said blood tests to find cause or eliminate causes is the first step. She also said it is an auto immune blood disorder which for lot of people there is no know cause and levels have to be monitored by regular blood test by local dr.

@Former-Member best to know but what you say sounds encouraging. But no wonder you've been feeling miserable.

Have you got back to sewing yet? I haven't really tested myself close up yet but in the last week (since follow-up op) my distance vision is much better and not so glare sensitive. I'm getting back to gardening.

Waiting for blood results can send the anxiety through the roof. Hopefully no news is good news for you.

@Glisten I dont know if Youtube is spying on what i write here, but this morning one of the videos in my feed was a compilation of Japanese joinery techniques. It all looks so precise, it's incredible.
