@rav3n and I completely forgot I was going to go through my makeup. Dang I hate that. So glad I have you to remind me!

I am writing a physical note and sticking it on the mirror in my bathroom this time!!

I was given a bunch of ripe bananas so I'll be baking up some banana bread this weekend too. Hopefully keep myself busy so as not to let the boredom take over.

How's your weekend shaping up? (Aside from getting rid of excess unused makeup?!)

oh don't worry, i forgot for a second too, but then saw the notification from Tuesday's chat today which reminded me 😆 things related to cleaning usually slips my mind pretty fast hehe

might be going out for a dinner tomorrow for my friend's birthday, but besides that, not much going on. hoping to catch up on sleep mostly. any plans for tonight?

@tyme it is a verse that came to me (or as I believe, God gave to me) and as I meditated on it I realised I only half believed it because I wasn't letting God be in charge.

My day has been okay, as I said to a friend of mine, I'm not jumping up and down happy but I'm not down deep sad either so that's a good thing.

Do you have any favourite Christian writers? I am currently reading 3 books by Lysa Terkeurst and they are all helping in my grieving. I absolutely love Max Lucado too.

I love the thought of being in the same nursing home as you, and asking every day if you ever lived in Bully, can you cook and did you know my cat's nickname was Murdermittens? To which you will reply, I think so, I can't remember and oh really, why was he called that?

I used to have a friend who whenever we did something silly (like me accidentally driving through Ballajura on the wrong side of the road) she would say we are creating old lady memories.

I am feeling a touch nostalgic tonight and a little teary at the memories. Aunt asked if I wanted to house sit for the weekend in 2J for her but I decided not to go. I promised @rav3n I'd go through my old makeup and I want to finally overcome the plant stand that is taunting me as I have yet to complete it. And of course second home needs a visit (Bunnings).

What's your weekend looking like? I'd offer to help paint but the last time I painted I was about 18 when I helped paint the Boulder Railway Museum.

I have no plans for tonight, watching TV and that's about it.

I love baking. I used to do muffins every week for work - Monday Muffins I called it. A friend has given me a recipe that I am going to try for the banana bread, I've only made it once and I wasn't that keen on it as it was a bit dry.

Going out for dinner tomorrow sounds good. It's nice to have something to do with friends and birthday dinners are the best!

@Glisten why can you not get HRT? Is it a breast cancer thing? I have had conflicting information given to me about HRT, one girlfriend said that she was prepared to take the chance to have something help her avoid the symptoms of the pause. And another girlfriend who had to have a double mastectomy and hysterectomy said not to take it. I tried but the depression was worse, the flushes were unbearable and I decided to go with it.

Peptides? You'll have to learn me up on that as I don't have any knowledge of how they work.

CCL (Crazy Cat Lady oldest friend) takes Woolly Mammoth supplements and said she's had good results. Unfortunately it's rather expensive and I don't have her budget.

I don't know if I prefer the curse of the monthly or the curse of the regular power surges. Both are proof that God is a man!
