I could not find my Physical Illness Thread, that I used to Update.

@Shaz51Maybe you can find my Physical Illness Thread & give me a Link to it - You are so good at finding Threads & things.

I’ve just received an Autism Assessment.

Which my Psychologist suggested I do.

It says that my responses are consistent with Autism.

I had no idea, had never considered the possibility.

It might have been useful when I was young, in order to receive appropriate help.

Yet at the age of 55, I don’t know what to do with such a Diagnosis.

So I’m still in some shock over that.

My Psychologist simply said it was up to me what I choose to do with it.

I have no idea what to do with supposedly being Autistic.

You are still just you. Having a label doesn’t need to define you. It’s the stigma around that diagnosis that you are reacting to. The question is does it make anything make more sense to you? Sending you gentle hugs my friend.

By the way when I am looking for one of my threads I troll through my own profile looking for it or if you can remember the name of it drop the @ symbol and type the name, it should come up. Hope this helps
