how are you today

@Shaz51 , hello my lovely angel friend.

I'm not great today. I had my therapist appointment on Friday and just a lot to process. I didn't have an EMDR session on Friday. I am coming to terms with loss and grief. 2 fold so it's really hard. The loss of the extended family, my sister and my husband.

Since little I always chased the affection and protection of my sister. The realisation that I never got that and that although the incident with my husband decimated any weak threads of connections there, the reality is that I never had the kind of sisterly relationship I needed and wished for.

And loosing my husband because we are now both different people.

I am grieving people that are still alive. And trying to get used to this new life.

I will continue my therapy to work through this grief.

My husband continues his therapy. He tells me he is optimistic about our relationship and marriage but I just see him as a different person now. I still care for him, have empathy and love the part of him that's still there but I am mourning the loss of who he was.

Usually grief is spoken about in terms of loss of people that have passed away but not in terms of people, relationships that have changed but yet are still together.

My therapist saus the grief will always be there but it will change with time.

How are you today? I hope any bruising or aches from your fall are gone.

I think everyone changes over time, different stages for different ages

also, I can see now that my grandma and my mum were the stable rock in our family, now that they are gone it seems like there is no family connections anymore

I wrote a message to my cousin who does keep in touch telling her how much I am loving the only connections in the family

sorry, my brain is not really in a good place today, think I am just very tired and aching

I have 3 forms to get some more tests done -- wish they were all in the same place which they are not

I am not feeling like I don't want more tests

should get my new glasses this week

Mr. Shaz's Kidney appointment went well, just have to do regular checkups like me

Mr. Shaz had a biopsy done on a sunspot on his ear -- get the results on Friday

Keep on keeping on my sister xxx
